'Delicious food!'
We visited Siam Palace restaurant in RAK Mall, Ras Al Khaimah for a weekday dinner. They serve a variety of Pan-Asian cuisines.
Here is a review of the food:
1. Hot and sour chicken soup: It was served hot and was tasty.
2. Beef momos: They were really fresh and the filling was generous. The accompanying sauces are fire hot, so don't dunk the momo directly!
3. Veg spring rolls : They were crisp and delicious.
4. Shezwan chicken and fried rice combo:It was delish. However, the chicken could be cut into bite sized pieces so that it's comfortable to eat.
5. Schezwan veg noodles: They were really spicy - good for those a great deal of spice.
6. Veg sizzler: It is served with white rice on the side. The gravy was superb.
7. Thai red curry with rice: It was really delicious and a must try.
The staff is polite. The ambience at the food court is really nice as they have extended the seating area recently. Free parking is available at RAK Mall.

My husband and I ate here 3 or 4 times this past month during the RAK Mall 1/2 price sale month. Overall, we didn't have a single dish we really disliked. Several were really good, most were pretty good, and only one was disappointing.
Really good:
*Tom Yum beef fried rice* (not pictured) this fried rice was really surprising in its goodness-- probably my favorite item I've had from this place so far. The flavor was really rich, it had a good variety of veggies and the egg on top was perfectly cooked and added a lot of moisture.
*Thai beef fried rice* similar simplicity to the chicken fried rice mentioned below, but for me the marinade and flavor of the beef were really surprisingly good. The freshness of both fried rice dishes was so good.
Decent:
*Chicken Satay* Not overcooked, pretty juicy. It was missing the spicy tang that evidences a really good marinade, but the flavor was still pretty good.
*Thai chicken fried rice* really simple, but also really fresh. I would've loved to see more veggies in this.
*Yellow Chicken Curry* (not pictured) Nice and creamy, with a good flavor. The chicken and veggies were both slightly overcooked, but the experience overall was still delicious.
Not so great:
*Dumplings* (Momos)(not pictured)-- not only do these take a long time to come out (I waited 25 minutes, and for a food court restaurant that seems kinda long), but they also are pretty bland and textureless. We love dumplings, so we tried them twice, and both times they were just meh.
In the vegetarian food department, their Pad Thai is pretty good, and so is the green curry combo. Veg sizzler however is not the usual kind of sizzler. The gravy is sizzling hot but the rice is served on the side. The portions were decent for the buck. Overall delicious food experience.
